Uno strano personaggio, Jonathan Drew, si presenta a casa dei signori Bunting alla ricerca di una stanza in affitto mentre tutta Londra è alla ricerca di un serial killer che ha la mania di uccidere le donne bionde, chiamato 'il vendicatore'.
