A sly, sultry character study from filmmaker Justine Triet, SIBYL follows a psychotherapist (Virginie Efira) who decides to quit her practice and return to writing instead. As Sibyl starts dropping patients, she begins to struggle with excess time and a lack of inspiration–until she gets a call from Margot (Adèle Exarchopoulos), a young actress wrapped up in a dramatic affair with her costar, Igor (Gaspard Ulliel), who happens to be married to the film's director (Sandra Hüller). Becoming further enmeshed in Margot's life, Sibyl starts to blur past and present, fiction with reality, and the personal with the professional as she begins to use Margot's life as source material for her novel.

Adèle Exarchopoulos ist eine stets sehenswerte, grossartige Schauspielerin. Die Story ist eher psychologisch als inhaltslos, somit finde ich Manus Urteil amüsant (das ist dasselbe). Es handelt sich übrigens um eine Komödie. Besonders gefiel mir Frau Hüllers grauenhafter Sprung ins Wasser.

Il n’y a rien dans ce film, pas d’histoire, pas de but, pas de scénario, rien… juste des acteurs qui montrent qu’ils peuvent jouer à poil, qu’ils savent pleurer, être en colère, hystérique, parler l’anglais, pour au cas où ils seraient approchés par hollywood… On dirait Joe dans Friends, quand il essaye de se placer en jouant toutes les émotions pour obtenir un rôle… Les mecs parlent parfaitement le français sans aucun accent, mais on les fait parler anglais, italien… avec des super sous-titres…. Du grand n’importe quoi… Et les dialogues sont tout sauf naturel…

Bref, toutes ces folles émotions surjouées pour donner une pseudo profondeur à un film plus que nul

Pourtant je l’aime bien la Virginie, j’avais adoré sa prestation dans le film Titanic
