Ein interessanter Historienfilm ist hier inszeniert worden. In dieser Produktion hat man einen kleinen Einblick in die europäische Heiratspolitik des Adels im 19.Jhd. Zeigt er ferner das Leben am englischen Hof und deren Hofkultur. Gleichfalls auffallend ist, wie servil sich doch etliche Personen gegenüber sogenannten Autoritäten benehmen, nur um dessen Gunst zu erwerben. Fazit: Auffallend positiv sind die Darstellung, Kostüme, Dialoge und Location. Hält eine wohldosierte Balance zwischen dialogstarker Story und etwas Romanze. Im O-Ton sicher besser, da dann die deutsch-englische Verbindung authentischer wirkt.

très très bon film je regrette simplement qu'il n'y ai pas plus de film de ce style, comme Elisabeth aussi très très bon film ou la série tudor pour rester dans le même registre.
