Mentre dirige il ranch paterno, Lee Strobie, figlio di un ricco allevatore del Colorado, tenta di mettere sulla buona strada il fratello di latte Owen Daybright. Questi, che viene trattato come un figlio da Arch Strobie, però, non solo si rivela essere un fannullone, ma ha anche un animo ingrato e malvagio e volgerà a un epilogo drammatico la relazione col fratello.
