Description

A Cinderella story about friendship, personal transformation and finding true love.
Frances McDormand plays Miss Pettigrew, a nanny who is currently broke and out of work. She does get a job as a sort of personal assistant to the scandalous starlet Delysia La Fosse (Amy Adams), and much comic hilarity ensues as she tries to keep Delysia on the straight and narrow, or at least cover up her transgressions.

Endlich wieder einmal eine screwball Komödie, die durchaus sehenswert ist. Musik und Requisiten sind, neben der cast, passend gewählt worden. Fazit: F.McDormand hat hier wieder zeigen können, was alles in ihr steckt. Starke Darstellung. Obwohl manchmal etwas "over the top" war dieser Film ganz angenehm. Von der Machart erinnert er mich ein bisschen an "Victor/Victoria". Besser im O-Ton ansehen. Gut-sehr gut.
