Follow-on from the 1986 film FX - Murder by Illusion in which Tyler is now semi-retired. However, his girlfriend's ex-husband talks him out of the quiet life after five years and into taking part in a police-sting operation. When the latter is murdered, Tyler investigates; with the help of his old police partner and soon they are trapped in a dangerous web of murder, treachery and deceit.

Dieser Film machts vor.So rasant hätte auch der erste Teil sein sollen. FX 2 zählt meiner Meinung nach mit Abstand zum besten dieses Genres.
